TWO nationally acclaimed comedians are bringing their Edinburgh Fringe Festival preview shows to Llanidloes.

Kiri Pritchard-McLean and Rachel Fairburn, have been dubbed “two of the greatest circuit comedians in the UK.”

Kiri is one of The Guardian’s top three acts to see at this year’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival and has appeared on the BBC on numerous occasions.

Kiri was the only comic to win two awards at the 2018 Chortle Awards for Best Compere and Best Club comic.

Prichard-McLean, from Anglesey but has been based in Manchester, is a stand-up comedian who The Guardian has described as “an impressive comic, making powerhouse stand up from the thorniest of subjects.”

Rachel Fairburn started doing stand up in January 2007, and was a finalist in both the Funny Women and City Life North-West Comedian of the Year competitions the following year.

Kiri and Rachel are co-writers and co-hosts of the hit podcast ‘All Killa No Filla’, which they will tour in the US.

Kiri and Rachel will make their Llanidloes debut in The Old Mill this Sunday, June 17 from 7.30pm and entry is free.

On their Facebook page, The Old Mill said: “We are totally privileged to have them, so come see them before they take the world by storm.”
