LLANDRINDOD Wells is turning pink as part of a drive to help Cancer Research UK.
On Sunday, thousands of women will be taking part in the Race for Life and a group from Llandrindod, the Llandod Ladies, will be taking part in the 10km race in Aberystwyth.
Jayne Griffiths said that turning the town pink was an inspired challenge by her boss at the Tesco Supermarket, Lee Cartilage.
Jayne said "I was challenged to turn the town pink.
"We've got the store all done up and I've been going around the shops and businesses in the town and we've received wonderful support from everyone."
"It's part of the Tesco supporting the community and Cancer Research UK is a charity we support.
"We've got 22 shops all decked in pink in the windows and there are pink bows on the lamposts
"It's a way of bringing the town together."
And the reaction to the colour change has been good with many taking to social media to say how delighted they are with the results.
Myfanwy Owens said on Facebook: "Llandod has made a fantastic effort, well done all."
