AN INQUEST has been opened into the death of a motorist found slumped over the wheel of his car.
Douglas Mervyn Roberts, 76, of Cae Mawr, Llandudno, was taken to Glan Clwyd Hospital but suffered another cardiac arrest while in the emergency department and died.
At a brief hearing in Ruthin John Gittins, coroner for North Wales East and Central, said he had not received details of where Mr Roberts, a retired production operative, had been found on Wednesday April 18.
A decision on the cause of death has been deferred pending further tests and the inquest was adjourned to a date to be fixed.
