Plans to extend a former bowls pavilion in Wem have been submitted.
The alterations at the Butler Sports Centre in Bowens Field have been submitted by the Wem Sports and Social Association and include replacing floodlights on Green Two.
A planning statement by agent Gary Chesters says: "Currently players use a timber hut as the pavilion, this is not ideal and not adequate in terms of size and providing views to the greens.
"A new pavilion is proposed and this will be set off the end of the site’s main clubhouse. It will offer views of both greens and provide an adequate waiting and changing area for those who are about to, or for those who have played."
A decision is expected from Shropshire Council by April 24.
