A charity shop in Llanfylllin is set for a revamp as part of a new project with Arts Connection.

The community arts organisation is hosting a workshop aimed at families, young people and older people in collaboration with the Volunteer Bureau on Wednesday, March 21 at Llanfyllin Youth and Community Centre from 2pm to 4pm.

They will be helping to redesign the town’s main charity shop window frontage with new external window banners.

Participants will be working with a professional artist to help get the creative juices flowing. All welcome.

The workshop forms the beginning of a busy few weeks for Arts Connection, including on Friday, March 23, Arts Connection and Night Out are hosting a night of shadow theatre and storytelling by Tell-a-Vision at Llanrahaeadr ym Mochnant Public Hall at 7.30pm for anyone aged eight and over. Tickets are £5/£3 and can be bought at artsconnection.org.uk/tellavisionnightout/ and on Tuesday, March 27, there will be an Easter holiday ‘Splash of Spring Colour’ family art workshop costing £3 per family at Llanfyllin Youth and Community Centre from 1pm to 4pm.
