A couple from near Llanbister have hit the headlines after their dramatic Facebook video of a sheep being rescued from deep snow went viral.
The video, taken by Robbie Alman-Wilson shows her husband Dale digging out a relieved sheep from a deep snowdrift as Storm Emma blew in on Saturday, March 3, and has now been viewed over 18,000 times on the social network, with the story featured on the BBC over the weekend.
The couple posted the video with the message: "Here's one victim the Beast from the East or Storm Emma could not claim!"
They say they hope it was an isolated incident and that most of the flock made it to lower ground in time, but they won't know for sure if any sheep have been lost until the snow melts on the hills.
