North and Mid Wales is bracing itself for more snow, ice and freezing cold temperatures this week as the 'Beast From The East' continues to blast the region.

Snow and ice on Tuesday led to the closure of dozens of schools and businesses.

The Met Office has now issued further weather warnings for Wales - stretching from Thursday morning until Saturday night - which is expected to cause disruption to our region.

A yellow alert for snow remains in place until 11.55pm on Tuesday.
