GERAINT Mathias scored twice as St Harmon celebrated a 5-0 victory over a youthful Hay St Marys Reserves.

Further goals from Harry Powell, Dan Price and Rhys Bennett completed the Swifts scoring.

Meanwhile Dave Thomas led the scoring as Builth Wells Reserves ran riot in an 8-1 win at home to Knighton Town Reserves.

Gethin Jarman, Aron Walters, Aled Powell, Shane Claridge, Charlie Boucher and Josh Price also netted for the Bulls with Jack Brindley grabbing a consolation for Knighton.

Elsewhere Gareth Bull completed a hat-trick in Presteigne Reserves' 7-1 win over Felindre with a Duane Anning double and strikes from Josh Gardner and Tom Lewis cancelling Luke Morgan's reply.

Newcastle closed the gap on second placed Rhayader Town to just two points with a 2-0 win over Llandrindod Wells Reserves sealed by goals from player-manager Craig Morris and Carl Price.

Elsewhere Rhayader's match at Brecon Northcote Reserves was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
