Robin Huw Bowen was at Newtown recently for the Town Council’s ceremony to unveil a plaque to remember John Roberts, the famous musician and harpist who lived in Newtown in the 1850s.

The plaque in Frolic Street, where John Roberts once lived with his wife and 13 children, has been placed there thanks to a Big Lottery grant to make people more aware of his life.
