THERE were people from all walks of life under the same sweaty, bass thumping roof, all united for their love of Boomtown's madness and tom foolery.

This was the calm before the storm, waiting nervously and excitedly for the doors to be opened up for a night to be never forgotten....

As we enter, a sea of revellers have already descended and the atmosphere is buzzing.

Everyone is here for a taste of what boomtown fair 2013 has to offer.

I have attended many events at motion skate park, although nothing on a scale or barely comparable to Equinox 2013, the Boomtown team have really pulled out all the stops for this night.

I stumble into a tent where all the performers are preparing for their performances, applying their  face paints, glitter and crazy costumes. In the front courtyard starts a pyro technical show with ninjas, whilst outlandish Boomtown characters watch down from their platform.

I stand there watching, mesmerized when the sound of heavy bass draws me into the main arena where everyone is bouncing in unison.

Throughout motion were different areas occupying different genres of music; the happy slap cave, asbo disco, the people's front room, china town...all of which were tasters of what Boomtown 2013 will deliver.

By midnight, everything was kicking off.

I was especially impressed by the vast amount of eclectic costumes, all attendees put every effort into getting  into the Boomtown sprint.

At one point I was dancing with a girl with full on burlesque costume with a horses head!

The whole club was decked out with signature Boomtown decor, there was a sense of being part of a mystical, dream like night where anything goes.

I didn't want the night to end.

I now cannot wait for Boomtown Fair 2013, if Equinox is anything to go by, it's going to be the biggest and best yet!
