RHIANWEDD Price will represent Great Britain in the European Team Championships in France this weekend.
The Llandrindod Wells 1,500m runner is one of just three Welsh athletes to make the cut for the GB squad which takes on the rest of Europe in Lille this weekend.
Price, based in the USA where she competes alongside her twin sister Ffion for the Houston Franks, has been earmarked as a possible candidate to represent Wales in the Commonwealth Games in Australia next year.
British Athletics performance director, Neil Black said: “I’m excited and pleased with the team we have selected. It’s a look towards the future.
“Many of these athletes should be in the mix for Tokyo 2020 and beyond in 2024 so it will be interesting to see where they stand against some of Europe’s top names.”
