A group from Newtown Swimming Club attended the film screening of Eddie the Eagle at Theatre Hafren on Wednesday, May 31, and were inspired by his Olympic story.
The group met with Mr Eddie 'the Eagle' Edwards after the film and discussed their ambitions and dreams.
Mr Edwards remarked that he looked forward to hearing their future stories, and that he was pleased that he could inspire young athletes to look forward and believe in themselves.
