THERE is an atmosphere of confidence among the Conservative supporters at the general election count for Brecon and Radnorshire.
County Councillor Gwilym Williams Chair of the Brecon and Radnorshire association said: "Brecon and Radnorshire voted for Brexit and I believe the Conservative party will deliver.
"I think the party will increase its majority by a great deal.
"That is because people are afraid of a coalition between a Labour government, the SNP and the Liberals."
When asked about Theresa May, Cllr Williams said he had never met her, though he had no faith in Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn.
“I don't like Corbyn because he has got the wrong attitude," he added.
"If there was a nuclear war, would he press the button?"
