N Wales Div One
Colwyn Bay 35
COBRA 24
COBRA’S long stay at the top table of North Wales rugby ended on the North Wales coast last weekend.
Despite a spirited display the Meifod side were unable to follow up the previous week’s victory over Ruthin as hosts Colwyn Bay prevailed to sentence COBRA to the drop.
COBRA’s challenge was led by Harry Jukes who led their scoring with two tries while Jack Jukes and Llew Williams also crossed the whitewash with the latter adding two conversions.
However Bay remained in control to take the victory and consign COBRA to life in the second division next season.
COBRA: B Edwards, Isaac, H Jones, R Evans, E Davies, Launder, Humphreys, J Jukes, B Davies, R Jones, I Williams, Vaughan, L Williams, H Jukes, R Jones. Reps – Robson, Morris, B Roberts, Worthington, White
