A driver has died after her car was in a collision with a lorry near Llanelwedd last night.
Police were called to reports of an accident on the A481 at around 7.50pm yesterday, March 29.
A Dyfed-Powys Police spokesperson said: "Involved in the collision were a blue coloured Lupo and a lorry.
"Sadly the female driver of the Lupo died. Next of kin have been advised.
"The driver of the lorry was uninjured."
The road between Builth Wells and Hundred House was closed for around six hours, reopening in the early hours of Thursday morning.
Anyone who witnessed the accident is asked to contact police on 101.
