TOWERS at Caernarfon Castle were closed for safety reasons after a woman with a baby fell on some stairs.
The towers, spiral stairways and walls were closed to the public after the mother fell whilst carrying her child on steps last Friday (October 28). The castle grounds stayed open.
A spokesperson for Cadw, said they are investigating the incident which happened after it had rained.
Cadw said a review was carried out after the accident and the castle was re-opened by Monday.
