Dentist to go on trial over fraud allegations

A LLANDRINDOD Wells dentist who faces more than 30 fraud charges will stand trial in Merthyr Tydfil on August 3.
 

Jochemus Venter, 53, of Tremont Road, had previously pleaded not guilty to 31 charges and magistrates had declined jurisdiction in the case.

The matter will now go to Merthyr Tydfil Crown Court on August 3.
 

Appearing at Llandrindod Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, July 12, Venter was released on conditional bail and is not to apply for travel documents.
