The Severn Hospice has only a few places remaining on their team for the Lake Vyrnwy Half Marathon which is set to take place on September 9.
The charity is encouraging runners from across Mid Wales to be quick off the mark as the guaranteed spots for the race will get snapped up soon.
Mike Perry, community fundraising advisor for Severn Hospice, said: “We only have a few places remaining on our team for this year’s race and would encourage anyone thinking of taking part to get in touch quickly.
“The Lake Vyrnwy Half Marathon is a very popular event organised by a small committee dedicated to promoting their local community, giving the race a unique homemade feel. We hope to have a team of more than 50 runners taking part in the event all raising money to support their local hospice.
“Whether you’re a seasoned half marathon runner or are looking for a new challenge you should consider applying for one of our last few spots for the race. We do ask all of our runners to try and raise a minimum of £100 sponsorship for the hospice to help us care for the thousands of people who need our support each year.”
