ONE of the finest stand ups on the circuit is poised to open a bulging barrel of laughs for Rhyl comedy fans as only he can.
Rhod Gilbert: The Man with the Flaming Battenberg Tattoo comes to the Pavilion Theatre on November 9.
After several sell-out UK tours and best-selling stand-up DVDs, the multi-award winning comic from Carmarthen is back on the road with a brand new live show.
Gilbert’s animated musings on life's minor irritations are well known, but this time round, he's a more mellow fellow altogether.
In fact, he’s now so laid-back he even let someone tattoo a Battenberg on him.
Will the new, chilled-out Rhod get his girl and live happily ever after, or will it be microwaved baked potato for one again?
The gig is Gilbert’s first return to Rhyl since his The Cat that Looked like Nicholas Lyndhurst tour in 2009, and comes after a well-received gig at Venue Cymru, Llandudno in June.
Tickets are £25 (no concessions).
