NEWTOWN Football Club may have endured a troubled campaign, but off the pitch the Latham Park faithful are working overtime to do their part in keeping the club in the Welsh Premier.

On Saturday the club revealed new mascot Rocky the Robin (above) to the world, while a new official club flag was proudly on display behind the Allotment End stand.

The club have also seen an increase in the number of young supporters through the turnstiles thanks to a new free to under 16s scheme, while they has also provided a drum and trumpet for the youngsters to make some added matchday noise.

On top of that there has been an increase on the number of promotions geared at attracting new supporters to the Welsh Premier, with initiatives including a schools outreach programme, family promotions and digital marketing via social networking sites.
