MID Wales beauty queen Jamie-Lee Williams has become the new face of a cosmetic surgery company after admitting her own confidence has been boosted since having a boob job.
25-year-old Jamie-Lee, of Llanymynech, who was crowned Miss Galaxy International this year, underwent cosmetic surgery three years ago to enlarge the size of her breasts.
“I have always been naturally extrovert, but was always self-conscious of my breasts,” explained Jamie-Lee, who has travelled the world competing in beauty pageants since first competing in Miss Wales in 2006.
“After having my procedure I felt I was able to go on and actually win my beauty pageants.
“I was fed up of having to wear padded bras.”
Jamie-Lee was this week crowned the winner of the Harley Medical Group’s ‘Find a Face of 2012’ competition, which was launched on social networking site Facebook.
She will now star in the UK and Ireland’s advertising campaign.
She and the male winner, Trevor Ventour, 26, received a £1,000 first prize.
Louise Braham, marketing director at The Harley Medical Group, said: “The ‘Find the Face of’ competition is a fantastic way of finding real men and women who have discovered their inner confidence.
“Launching the competition on Facebook, which connects to 29.9 million people in the UK, meant it was a great way to ensure full visibility and inspire people.”
