“We are all so devastated to hear about Tom. Our hearts go out to his family at this awful time.
“Tom was our best player, and a nicer person you’ll never meet,” he said.

Glantraeth secretary Stan Strickland paid tribute to Tomos, who played for the club in 2008-09, in a statement on club’s website.
“Nothing can prepare you for such shocking news so soon after you have seen a young man so full of life.
“Many of our current players were good friends with him and will be devastated by the news and it is clear he was a very popular young man amongst all who knew him well,” he said.
Warm tributes were paid to Tom throughout the Anglesey football community.
A statement from Amlwch Town added: “Our thoughts are with the family, friends and teammates of Gaerwen FC's Tom Wyn Roberts who was sadly taken away from us last night. RIP Tom Wyn.”
