THE FAMILY of a popular young woman from Presteigne who was tragically killed in a car crash last Friday have said that she will be “missed enormously by everyone that knew her”.
Claire Barlow, 24, of Pound Lane in Presteigne, died after the Seat Ibiza she was driving, collided with a Mazda BT-50 pick-up truck just before 7.15pm on Friday, August 5 on the B4362 Shobdon to Presteigne Road near Byton.
All three emergency services attended the scene, but Claire was pronounced dead soon after they arrived.
Claire’s family this week spoke of their loss and a statement from the family said: “Claire was a beautiful girl who was renowned for her wonderful smile, bubbly personality and love of life.
"She was an outgoing person who was much admired by her friends for the happiness she felt with her life."
