Keeping an eye on what the celebs are wearing is simply a habit. Do you go as far as watching what their kids are wearing and dress yours accordingly? Or, do you just enjoy catching up on the latest childrenswear trends that the celebs are creating?
Joah Love is becoming increasingly popular; cute dresses for the girls and gorgeous t-shirts and shorts, in blues and greens, for boys that will make your heart melt. You may have seen recently that Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck's daughter Violet Affleck has been out in Joah Love.
Her Joah Love: Nicole Butter Fleece Tunic Dress looked cute and comfy and left us mums eager to find something similar for our offspring. If it's good enough for them, it's definitely good enough for us.
Heidi Klum's daughter Leni has also been spotted out and about, wearing a Joah Love OmniPeace Tee. These kids are showing us how it's done with Joah Love, and they look great too! Joah Love keeps making an appearance on the children of Reese Witherspoon and J.Lo too. Everyone loves this designer it seems.
From the looks of things, celeb kids are out for cuteness and comfort. So we can breathe a sigh of relief that the majority of us are probably already following the trend. Bright colours and prints are trending too; if you chose to dress your daughter all pretty and pink, you wouldn't be feeling old fashioned, you'd be right up there with the likes of Violet Affleck and Leni Klum.
Unfortunately not all of us can afford the prices that some of these celebs pay out for their kids. This won't be a problem for much longer though! Designer Diane von Furstenberg is currently putting together a children's clothing line, filled with her signature optimistic colours and femininity, for GAP. Excellent news, especially as their prices are much more affordable and we'll still be able to boast a designer brand!
Sadly this collection won't be ready until March next year, but at least we can keep an eye out for next year's kids' fashions!
This summer, the celebs are definitely doing it right. Their children look cuter than ever with trends that are easy for us 'regular mums' to follow if we want to. Brands will be creating similar styles to the designers, making it so much easier to have your own designer tot to accompany you out in the city, to school or even to Hamleys Toys during the summer months.
