CONSERVATIVE candidate Russell George is the new Assembly Member for Montgomeryshire.
AM George took the Montgomeryshire seat from the Lib Dems.
The seat was won in 2007 by then Lib Dem candidate Mick Bates, who later left the party after being convicted for drunkenly attacking a paramedic.
