POLICE have named the four victims of a horror smash near Llanidloes which ended with a holidaymaker's car plunging into the reservoir.
Driver Denise Griffith, 55, of Pontypridd, managed to get out of her Peugeot 807 and swim to the edge of Llyn Clywedog, on the road to Staylittle.
But her husband, Emyr, 66, died along with their foster sons, Peter Briscome and Liam Govier, both 14, and her mother Phyllis Hooper, 84.
Police have appealed for any witnesses of a horror crash at the Bwlch y Gle dam which claimed the lives of four holidaymakers to come forward.

A 23-year-old Llanidloes man, who works at Bradleys Garage, has been bailed after being arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
The crash happened on the B4518, on a sweeping bend just before a popular viewing spot at the top of a hill next to the Clywedog Reservoir.
