IS the truth out there?
A host of mysterious sightings in the sky have been reported by North Wales Police.
Intensive bright light and a large black triangular shaped craft - are just some of the comments made by members of the public in police reports.
The UFO figures show that since 2004 there have been 13 UFO sightings in North Wales, one every year.
The UFO reports have been held by North Wales Police since the current incident recording system was introduced in 2003.
Three sightings were recorded over Denbighshire.
u 2005, Denbigh - UFO in sky at above location.
u 2007, Llangollen - Caller reported that the family had just seen something in the sky.
It was an orange flame/fire shimmering in the sky that then disappeared very quickly, watching from the house it disappeared at speed towards Wrexham.
u 2009, Denbigh - Reports of three UFOs hovering over Denbigh, there crafts were large red lights about the size of the moon, they flew off.
Shortly afterwards a fourth craft appeared in the sky.
The Free Press has reported numerous UFO sightings by members of the public.
In November 2009 a photo taken over Denbigh Castle revealed a light in the sky.
The picture was taken by Graham Evans from Denbigh who was taken pictures of the castle when he noticed the object travelling “very quickly from right to left”.
Two months earlier dozens of Vale of Clwyd residents corroborated sightings of UFOs.
One woman captured the event with still photographs and a video film.
In May 2009 a group of friends on a camping trip in Carrog were ‘stunned’ after sighting a UFO.
The six adults and seven children stayed at the Carrog Station Campsite, and on their last night, when all the children were asleep, they saw an unusual object in the sky.
In 1974 the most famous of UFO sightings occurred.
Dubbed the Welsh Roswell - a suspected UFO crash landed on Cader Berwyn on January 23, 1974.
Dozens of witnesses across Lancashire and Cheshire phoned the police earlier that evening after seeing a strange formation of green lights flying erratically over the skies.
A member from a local UFO group said: “The MoD has denied for years that it is interested in UFOs, yet has spent millions of tax payers money secretly studying the subject, so much so, that lately it was revealed that 130 sightings with 33 attributable to North Wales were classified top secret, not bad for something which doesn’t exist.”
