THOSE watching BBC One’s new comedy drama ‘Candy Cabs’ may have spotted a familiar face on Tuesday night – that of Welshpool’s own Lu Corfield, who is starring as Big Pam in the series.
‘Candy Cabs’ follows a group of friends who set up their own, all-female taxi firm in the face of their chaotic personal lives, and opposition from existing companies.
Candy Cabs features an ensemble cast led by EastEnders actress Jo Joyner and comedy star Lisa Millett, Paul Nicholls, Denis Lawson, John Henshaw, Jodie Prenger, Paul Kaye, Claire Sweeney, Melanie Hill, Tom Goodman-Hill, Daniel Ryan, Ricky Whittle and Lu Corfield.
Lu, whose grandfather was the late Reverend Richard Jones, studied at RADA and has also starred in Eastenders, Holby City and The Bill.
