MARK Davies fired Guilsfield to glory with a late strike in a 2-1 win at Llanidloes Town in the quarter-finals of the Central Wales Cup on Wednesday night.
Davies struck with eight minutes remaining, following a threaded throughball from John Harris, to set-up a semi-final with Huws Gray Alliance rivals Caersws.
Guilsfield led at the interval with Ross Frame breaking the deadlock after linking with Chris Roberts on 25 minutes.
Llanidloes hit back after the break and drew level through Gregg Brown only for Davies to win the day with eight minutes to go.
