THE Green Man Festival is an independent alternative music festival which has gained international recognition.
Now in it's sixth year, the festival was the brainchild of Jo Bartlett and Danny Hagan, of Brecon-based duo It's Jo And Danny, one of the UK's foremost folk/folktronica acts.

The original festival was staged at the Craig Y Nos Castle, Pen-y-cae, before moving to Baskerville Hall Hotel near Clyro and then moving to it's current location at Glanusk Park, Crickhowell.

There were 9,000 tickets available for this year's festival which included names such as Super Furry Animals, Richard Thompson, Spiritualized and Pentangle.
