FOR eight years Katy Setterfield was best known as the lead vocalist in the hugely successful touring show, That'll Be The Day, but this year she became a success in her own right after winning the BBC One show, The One & Only.

After a three month Legends in Concert show in Las Vegas, she is now taking her winning Dusty Springfield performance around the UK.

Her vocal coach, Kim Chandler, who has also worked with Michael Jackson and Natalie Cole, said: "I started coaching Katy in early 2007 and working with her has been so rewarding and so much fun.

"Despite already being a well-established touring singer, she wanted to explore her voice more and I admire the courage that takes. She's got a fabulous personality, works hard and has a BIG voice!"

Katy's forthcoming dates include:

Shrewsbury Music Hall on September 11
St David's Hall, Cardiff on September 12
Pavillion Theatre, Rhyl on September 17
