Inspector Brian Jones

Inspector Brian Jones is a farmer’s son from near Hay on Wye and joined Dyfed Powys Police in 1994. He spent his first three years at Llandrindod Wells and Rhayader, before being promoted to Sergeant.
Brian worked as a Custody Sergeant and then over the years the Supervisor of the Divisional Support Unit, Builth Wells, Brecon, Hay on Wye, Crime & Performance Unit and then Customer Services.
In 2010, Brian was promoted to Inspector undertaking the responsibility of Partnerships developing close links with the Powys Community Safety Partnership and the Voluntary Sector, as well have having responsibility for Health & Safety, Equalities and Mental Health.
In August 2015, Brian returned to his roots in taking over as the Neighbourhood Inspector for Radnorshire, where he says community engagement and a shared problem solving approach between the Police, Partner Agencies and the Community is key to making our communities safer.
Brian also retains his responsibility for developing the effectiveness of the response to Mental Health along with Partner Agencies, promoting Dementia Awareness as a Dementia Champion and holds the Dyfed Powys Portfolio for Gypsy, Roma and Travellers.

PCSO Anna Bowen

Anna joined Dyfed Powys Police in March 2015 and is currently working as a PCSO in the Knighton and Presteigne area. Anna has lived in Radnorshire all her life, attending both primary and secondary school locally. Anna has a 1st class degree in Sport and PE and prior to joining the force worked as a teaching assistant at a local high school. Anna thoroughly enjoys engaging with members of the public.

PCSO Gareth Morris

Gareth joined as a Special Constable in January 2007 working at Llandrindod wells station. Originally from Knighton, Gareth is happy to be working back at Knighton and Presteigne and looks forward to working with the local community.

PC Fraser Scott

Fraser Scott has been a police officer for over 10 years  with the last 7 years based in Presteigne /Knighton . He lives local to the area and has built up good local knowledge of the community and the residents.
