BRISTOL based duo playing acoustic, folk and roots, Kit Hawes and Aaron Catlow will be playing at the SpArC theatre at Bishops Castle next Thursday night, March 1.

Aaron and Kit have worked with many artists including Seth Lakeman, Afro Celt Sound system, Yola Carter, Mad Dog Mcrea, Sheelanagig and Roni Size to name a few, all united with a passion for folk music.

Their debut album 'The Fox' has been received with critical acclaim. It explores the relationship between fiddle, guitar and voice, using the fertile ground of the traditional music of the British Isles as its starting point.

At Thursday’s show they will be supported by Sunjay who hails from Stourbridge and is gaining momentum as a young blues/folk musician.

An evening with Sunjay is an evening of exquisite blues, country and folk music combined with a master class in guitar playing, interspersed with hilarious anecdotes....and even the occasional Buddy Holly song.

When Sunjay starts to play the guitar and sing, you are transported to a world where blues and country music meld seamlessly amidst humid mangrove swamps and red neck barbecues. Sunjay is, without doubt, the real deal.

Door open at 7.30pm and tickets cost £10 or £6 from the box office on 01588 630121.
