The pub has a relaxed cosy atmosphere with real fires, original features such as a 17th century fireplace originating from the home of Thomas Pennant the famous Welsh author and naturalist.The pub has a large beer garden to the rear and ample car parking.
The chef proprietor with over ten years’ experience in five star hotels and Michelin star restaurants in the uk and abroad, prepares all the food from fresh daily using locally sourced ingredients whenever possible.With an emphasis on traditional british food using quality fresh ingredients.
We have a pub menu, a daily changing specials board, a set price fixed menu Tuesday to Thursday which changes fortnightly, and all meals are available in childrens portions. Please take a look at our menu page on our website.
We cater for private parties, functions and are available for exclusive use for up to 80 people.
Every Sunday we offer two different roasts as well as our normal pub menu and specials board.
