CHESHIRE EAST BOROUGH COUNCIL Highway Notices NOTICE OF TEMPORARY SPEED RESTRICTION - ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - Marthall Lane, Ollerton
Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers proposes to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic as follows, for repairs to the parapet.
Prohibition of traffic - Marthall Lane. Ollerton-Approximately 50 metres either side of Marthall Lane Bridge
The temporary speed restriction will be a limit of 30mph
This order will come into operation on Monday 4 June 2018 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Friday 29 June 2018.

NOTICE OF MAKING - (Parkgate Lane, Haig Road, Montgomery Close) (Knutsford) (Prohibition of Waiting) (Prohibition of Waiting) Order 2018
Notice is hereby given that on the 10 May 2018, Cheshire East Borough Council made an Order under Sections 1,2 and 4 and Part III of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and all other enabling powers and in accordance with its duty with Section 122 of the said Act.
1. The effect of the Order, which will come into operation on 28th May 2018, will be to introduce


a) a prohibition of waiting by vehicles at all times on all days in the following lengths of roads as detailed;
Parkgate Lane (East Side) - From its junction with Haig Road for a distance of 7 metres in a northerly direction.
Haig Road (North Side) - From its junction with Parkgate Lane for a distance of 20 metres in a general north easterly direction.
Haig Road (North Side) - Between a point 12 metres south west and a point 14 metres north east of the centreline of its junction with the access road leading to Middlewich Food Trays Ltd.
Haig Road (North Side) - From a point 15 metres south west its junction with Montgomery Close to a point 10 metres north east of its said junction.
Haig Road (South Side) - Between a point 13.5 metres south west and a point 14 metres north east of the centreline of its junction with Marlborough Close
Montgomery Close (West Side) - From its junction with Haig Road for a distance of 10 metres in a north westerly direction.
Montgomery Close (West Side) - From a point 53.5 metres of its junction with Haig Road for a distance of 28.5 metres in a north westerly direction.
Montgomery Close (East Side) - From its junction with Haig Road for a distance of 10 metres in a north westerly direction.
Montgomery Close (East Side) - From a point 53.5 metres of its junction with Haig Road for a distance of 36.5 metres in a north westerly direction.
2. A copy of the Order, a map showing the restricted area, a statement of reasons for making the order, a copy of this public notice and a copy of the public notice of the proposal to make the order may be examined during the usual office hours at the offices of Cheshire East Borough Council at Westfields, Middlewich Road, Sandbach CW11 1HZ and at Knutsford Library, Toft Road, Knutsford, WA16 0PG.


3. Any person who desires to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Act or any requirement of the Act or any instrument made under the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order is made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
