SCOTT BOWEN
Former Welshpool High School pupil has been awarded the degree of Doctor of Philosophy by the University of Leeds.
Scott is now undertaking a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in Germany awarded by the Alexander Von Humbalt Foundation at the Heart Centre Hospital Leipzig University, investing the disease of heart failure.
Scott is the son of Mr and Mrs Philip Bowen, Penthryn Brooks, Welshpool.
